Oglethorpe County Lions Club President Corrine Thiel helped sort donations to the annual Community Christmas event which gives presents and other items to needy children in the county. Several days of hectic sorting, packaging, and last minute buying were required to get the gifts ready for distribution.
The Lions Club donates $200 each year to this event and we hope to increase this in future years.
